![]() Margery Hesney has been the Director of Music Together® since 1991. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the State University of New York at Albany and a Master’s Degree from Temple University. Margery studied violin with Margaret Pinkston, a graduate of the Juilliard School of Music, and David Grunschlag, former Associate Concertmaster of the Philadelphia Orchestra. She performs with several local symphony orchestras and chamber music ensembles. Margery also plays the viola, piano, guitar and recorder. She also taught music in area pre-schools. The Center for Music and Young Children in Princeton, N.J., recently awarded Margery "Music Together Certification, Level 1" status for outstanding achievement in teaching, musicianship, program philosophy, and parent education. Margery has extensively studied Dalcroze Eurythmics, modern dance, and folk dancing. She has performed with a professional folk dance troupe and taught folk dancing for many years. Cynthia Rasmussen holds a Bachelor of Music Degree from The School of Music and Performing Arts at Philadelphia Biblical University. She has studied voice with the faculty from Juilliard and Temple University. Cynthia performs with opera companies and also sings solo recitals throughout the Philadelphia Area. She has taught Music Together for many years. Cynthia plays the autoharp. Linda Furia holds a Bachelor's Degree from Rutgers University. She has directed children's and adult choirs as well as bell choirs. Linda plays the piano, organ, flute and guitar. Diane Scudder holds a Bachelor's Degree from Bob Jones University and a Master's Degree from Boston University. She has taught piano and children's music classes for many years. Gisela Wutzler holds a Master's Degree in Music Therapy from Hahnemann University. She has taught Music Together as well as Music for Little Mozarts piano classes and private piano lessons for many years. Gisela plays the guitar and sings with several choirs. Meg Vandegrift holds a Bachelor of Music Degree from Virginia Commonwealth University and a Master of Music Degree from Rutgers University. She has taught music to young children at childcare centers. Meg plays the guitar and has extensive experience singing professionally. Carol Gabay holds a Bachelor of Music Degree in Piano from the University of the Arts and is a certified music therapist. She has taught piano for many years and enjoys teaching music to young children. All faculty members have been trained and registered by the Center for Music and Young Children where Music Together was conceived. |
